While we are proud of our accomplishments, the reason we founded Tenndeavor is to develop your tennis game. As life-long students of the sport, we are dedicated to becoming better instructors by continuing our coaching education every year. Our goal, by combining the latest instructional techniques with our deep experience, is to make you the best athlete and tennis player that you can be.

professional tennis coaches

Tenndeavor coaches are high-performance, USPTA, PTR and USTA Safe Play certified professionals with a combined 10 decades of experience teaching tennis. We have coached players in professional tournaments on the world tours as well as division-1 NCAA, USTA national events and ITF international events. Some of our coaches have also competed in the Grand Slams as top international players and as world-ranked professional tennis players.

Credentials: USPTA Elite Professional (13 years); PTR Certified Professional (13 years); USTA Safe Play Certified; ATP Professional Course Graduate (2011). Experience: Career High Rank of #709 ATP; NCAA Division 1 (Cal Poly); best win over world #21 Bracciali in doubles. Traveling coach for professional players.

Credentials: USPTA Professional; USTA Safe Play Certified; Teaching Professional @Barnes Tennis Center; Coached @Southside Tennis Academy. Experience: Junior World Rank of #240 ITF; NCAA Division 1 (Univ of Arizona); Canadian U18 ITF Doubles Champion; Competed at junior French, Wimbledon, US Open.

Experience: Won the Junior Bulgarian Open @age 15; 1st Racquet Galea Cup Team (Bulgaria); Played pro tennis for 5 years; Traveling Coach to top junior players in Europe, South America and Japan.

giving back

At Tenndeavor we believe that helping others is just as important as mastering first serves. Throughout the course of the year, we donate our time, money and efforts to bringing the joy of tennis along with healthy exercise to children, individuals and groups who are underprivileged.

In a not-for-profit approach, we have introduced the game to local after school programs and provided demonstrations, clinics and exhibitions at various venues. The youngsters were equipped thanks to donations by generous individuals and retailers. In an age where the focus revolves around those with financial capabilities, we find that good deeds can be far more rewarding for all of us.

Tenndeavor also donates funds to grassroots tennis programs, has built tennis courts at public schools, and holds fundraising events for other charities, most recently Tennis Thanks the Troops.
